April 1st, 2020 12:31pm -Morrisville Public Library Facebook Page

Look at the demographics from the Madison County Health Department as of March 31, 2020 (below).  No one is immune from getting this!  If you can stay home, please do.  Please do not go visit that one friend, one can't hurt can it?  OF COURSE it can.  COVID-19 doesn't rear its ugly head until it's too late....only visit with the ones you live with.  Live alone?  Call or video chat with your friends.  Social distancing is hard, but we all need to do our part.

Worried about getting food/groceries?  Morrisville area can get groceries by Instacart!  If you can do that, they deliver them to your door!  There is also Walmart Pickup if you want to take a drive and not have to go into the store.  Dougherty's Pharmacy has fresh produce and more!  You can call and place an order!  They will bring it to your car!  Options are here for us in a food desert.  There really is no need to be near others.

Now if you are an essential employee, thank you.  That's all we can say, thank you for the bottom of our hearts.  The more of us that stay home, the more we can protect all of our essential employees.

To my library patrons, if you have my cell number, and want to talk, feel alone, whatever, call me.  Leave a message as I don't answer any calls I do not know and I will call you back.  If you don't have my cell,  call the library please at 315-684-9130 as I pop over to the library a few times a week to check on things and will get your message and call you back.

And to any who ask or have asked me, I cannot get you materials at this time.  For the safety of all, the books and more stay here and we will get them to you when we know it is safe.  I struggle with this every day but in the best interest of all, I cannot do it.  I hope you all understand.

I miss you all.  Please stay safe and well and know that I am working behind the scenes to keep things afloat as well as staying abreast of the ever changing regulations etc. associated with this pandemic.  I am waiting for the all clear signal so life can start to return to normal.  Hang in there!  ~Michelle Rounds, Library Manager
