Wampsville, N.Y. — A third patient has died from COVID-19 in Madison County, a county spokeswoman confirmed this morning.
The number of deaths increased by one late Tuesday or early Wednesday on the county’s COVID-19 web page. No other information was available.
Onondaga County has reported six deaths from coronavirus, while Oneida and Oswego counties each had two, as of Tuesday night.
Madison County’s website listed 91 positive tests for the virus as of Tuesday night, with a total of 652 patients tested. The dashboard said there were 68 tests pending, and 493 tests had come back negative. Some 58 patients were listed as having recovered from the virus and no longer in isolation.
