When the threat of COVID-19 began to make its way to Madison County, all Public Health staff were given a role in the response efforts. Staff have been busily making patient visits and daily phone calls, securing and delivering needed supplies, coordinating with healthcare providers and hospitals, tracking and reporting testing and positive cases daily, developing guidance based on CDC and New York State Department of Health recommendations, pushing out messages online and in print, recruiting and training volunteers, and responding to the needs of the community.
Thank you to the dedicated Madison County Health Department staff for all you do for Madison County, this week and year round! For accurate and up-to-date information on COVID-19, visit Madison County Health Department’s web site: https://www.madisoncounty.ny.gov/2479/Coronavirus-COVID-19.
