In Madison County there will still be a Democratic Primary for the 121st Assembly and a Republican Primary for the 22nd Congressional on June 23, 2020.

To reduce any Election Day crowds at the polls, all eligible voters will be mailed an absentee application with a postage paid return envelope. According to the Governor’s Executive Order, voters can choose ‘Temporary Illness’ on the application as a reason (due to the social distancing) to receive an absentee ballot and vote from home for the June 23 Primaries if they choose. Once applications are received at the Board of Elections, ballots will be mailed out starting May 8, 2020.

Online applications and additional updates can be found on the Board of Elections website at https://www.madisoncounty.ny.gov/1547/Board-of-Elections
