By wearing a cloth face covering, you can protect both yourself and others from COVID-19. Remember that if you do not wear the mask properly it does not work. Here are some Do's and Don'ts to wearing a cloth face mask:

-DO make sure you can breathe through it.
-DO wear it whenever you go out in public and unable to maintain six feet of distance from others. Remember, the face covering is not a replacement for social distancing.
-DO make sure it covers both your nose AND your mouth.
-DO wash after using, in a washing machine if possible. When removing your face covering, be careful not to touch your eyes, nose, and mouth and wash your hands immediately after removing.

-DO NOT use on anyone under age 2 or those who are unable to remove the face covering without help.
-DO NOT use surgical masks or other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) intended for healthcare workers and other medical first responders.
